The Nativity of our Lord is celebrated with a Divine Service on Tuesday, December 25 at 9:30 a.m.
We will also dedicate a set of white paraments, which were given as memorial gifts by members of Zion. Paraments are the cloths that adorn the altar, pulpit, lectern, minister and other parts of the church sanctuary. White is the color that expresses joy and is used on Christmas and other holy days that celebrate the life of our Lord Jesus.
When the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to His own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:4-7
