At this time of year the church is decked with the color green. Green is the color of grass, leaves, and crops. Green symbolizes growth and life. God bestows Christian growth and eternal life by His Holy Spirit, who works through the Word and Sacraments.
The Sunday worship service is at 9:30 a.m. It’s a new time, but the same old-time religion–the one that focuses on Jesus Christ, the Savior of all.
During the summer there is a Bible study held on Sunday mornings at 8:00 a.m. We are studying “We the People.” It examines the Christian’s role in political realm, since we are citizens of an earthly kingdom by birth and citizens of a heavenly kingdom by baptism.
